bachelorette party time...

Saturday night I felt young again... it was great. We had Audrey's bachelorette party. We started out at Kayla and Shannon's apt. and ate all of Aud's favorite foods. It was wonderful. We played some cute games, and enjoyed Kayla's yummy drink she created. Then we all headed downtown to the BIG BANG. What a fun place. It was great just to listen to the music and watch all the people!! A fun night was had by all...less than 2 weeks til the big day, can not wait.

Our life around Buckeye football season...

Our life on Saturdays definantly revolves around when the buckeyes play...I know, so sad, but hey we are fans and serious ones!! Our good friends the Micheals had a neighborhood bash in green pastures for the game. They had lots of pregame music and, then placed a big sheet on there garage and projected the game on there. It was awesome...besides the outcome of course. I still love my buckeyes and it was a fun night.

I cracked up at this photo....let me pose for you mommy in a different way. I think you are showing a little too much leg, little girl, but for now it is ok..ha ha! I had a great time getting her all dolled up for the game and putting her brutus sticker on her face and mommy even had one in the same spot. My great find was the red converse shoes at target..love that store!!

This picture says it all.... That fakey smirky smile says I am ornery and I know it! We had fun before our partying began by having a little photo chute...we bought Emma this buckeye chair at the holly and Ivy auction thru church. I plan on taking her picture in it every year. She loves cheering on the buckeyes and saying GOOO BUCKEYES! She especially loves Brutus, but when she sees him in person freaks out since he is so big.

ISDC first dance experience...

Yesterday I felt like a little kid in a candy store... I was excited to start Emma in her first dance experience. When I was little I did tap and ballet and still remember it very vividly. I loved it. Yes, I loved my sports, but still liked being a little girly girl at times too! I have always heard rave reviews about in step dance studio so decided I had to check it out. They offer a 2-4 years combo class for 45 minutes which is tap and ballet combined. I was very impressed with there organization and before I knew it they were calling Emma and the rest of the crew upstairs...yes, we do not watch. that part bummed me out, and I found myself pacing the waiting area wanting to go up and watch her and of course take some pictures...it all worked out as Emma went off and had a blast!! This is her buddy Camryn from church, they love each other and are in the same class. They are only 5 days apart! Emma's other buddy Riley is also in the class, they are our neighbors and only 3months apart. I will have to get a pic of them together next week!
Ok, I got Emma ready and shot this pic of her, she was so excited. She is really in to the tap part right now. I just think she looks so grown up in the picture. I also can not believe how blond her hair has gotten, I don't get it, my hair is about as dark as you can get and brad's is brown. I always have thought that she is my twin in looks also, but I think in this pic she resembles Brad alot more. Well, i am excited that this adventure has begun and look forward to see all that she learns. On a side note, if you ever want to see anybody in town you might know, just happen to go to ISDC and you are bound to see half the town of marysville going in and out. Here I was in my old tshirt and shorts and ran into about 20 people I knew...

Buckeye Nation..nothing better

Me, Emma, Jake and Piper making a bad attempt of OHIO! I think it is still cute... My longtime friend Laura and I met down on campus at her brothers tailgate for some fun today. We had a blast. I really enjoyed myself! We were really busy the whole time... but so worth it! The twins are 3 and of course Emma is 2, so you can only imagine...
We went to skull session for awhile and I captured this awesome pic of Jim Tressel giving the pregame speech.

The kids had a blast walking around checking everything out and playing with the cornhole bags..we did tons of walking and Emma loved checking out all the people. She kept saying, GO BUCKEYES, it was so cute!!!!

Laura and I have known each other since kindergarten and we always get together during buckeye season. She will always have a special place in my heart and I treasure her friendship. No matter how often we see each other, we just pick right back up where we left off...she graduated from OSU and a BIG fan like me!!!

Richwood Fair...

This was Emma's first putt putt experience...ow boy was it interesting for mommy to watch. Of course she was about doing it all by herself!! I tried to get daddy to come watch, but he was busy working. Ow boy Emma do we have a lot of work to do to get you ready for the PGA. She actually knew exactly what to do, but I could not get her to stand on the side of the ball, but that is allright, she would hit the ball, again, and again and again and then realized she needed to get it in the hole so she would put the ball right up close to the hole and then hit it in, a smart girl she was!!

Of course many rides were involved. The Richwood Fair didn't have as many for little kids, but we found a few. She really liked this ride, until she figured out the red thing in the middle makes you turn and she started turning herself and then got scared.
This was quite hysterical!!! She wanted to go down the big slide so I said OK..very nervously. She took her shoes off and said bye mommy. I watched her climb all the way up to the top and then the screams started, she looked down from the top to see how high she actually was. I tried to get her to go down backwards, but it was not happening. So mommy went to the top and brought her back down. Maybe next time...

So Emma has really aquired a love for pigs. We spent a long time in the pig barn and she loves talking to them and checking them all out. I have never really liked them, but they are growing on me now... they kinda have too.

The fair does a nice job of having mums around and hay getting that fall look started. So, I had daddy and Emma pose for a little picture. They were checking out some animals though instead of looking at the camera... ow well.

I love this picture I captured of Emma and her mammaw. Marvin also works the fair for EMA with Brad. So, last night Sharon came up with Marvin since she knew we were going to be there. Sharon's health is not the best, she has parkinson's and her memory is not the best so I capture as many pics as I can of the two of them. Emma loves helping her mammaw!
There was another funny story from last night. We were sitting at the picnic table eating supper and Emma says she is ready for rides. She starts walking around and well... she sees an older gentleman walking towards her with white hair and a white beard. She immediately comes running towards me and starts crying and says I scared mommy, no santa. I just started cracking up!!! We have not even talked about Santa, so not sure how she remembered from last year, but I guess maybe she did. So, I am sure that Christmas will be interesting this year..we may have to take a far away photo with Santa.

What I love about Emma right now...

*Her smile
*How she is my twin! Looks just like me when I was little.
*Her friendliness to everyone, she doesn't know a stranger
*Watching her when she plays with friends, it is so darn cute
*Her cuddling on mommy's chest on the couch every night before bed
*Her brains(she gets it all from me of course) I really am amazed how quickly she picks things up, she can put a puzzle together in no time at all, loves to read books, recognizes the letters in her name, says her abc's, knows most of her colors, just crazy!!
*Her independence(well I love this most of the time) We will be places and she just wants to do her own thing and of course we end up chasing her everywhere!!!! Hopefully this means she will be a strong women!
*I have grown to love her...'I do it myself mommy', even though I get so frustrated sometimes and can get it done much fast if I do it, I respect that she wants to learn, even if she does put her shoes on the wrong feet, or her underwear on backwards, or it takes 20 minutes to load her in the car because she has to put herself in now and latch herself in.
*Her 'I loves you mommy and eskimo kisses'

It has just amazed me over the past 4 months since you turned 2 how you are a magnet right now for learning new things and have become a little girl. The baby is all gone now...
