Balloon Rally

Balloon Rally, all I can say is awesome, and always a great time! This pic is of the night glow that they have, the balloons look beautiful and 15 balloons came back after flying for the glow.
Emma had a blast dancing with lots of friends, but especially Camryn from church to my fav band right now the Reganomics. They play 80's music, yes, I am starting to date myself, ow gesh.... mommy and daddy conveinently avoided all the jumping things that were available...are we bad parents? Long lines, and 7.00. We stuck with dancing..

The balloons were amazing, 21 of them went up, I would love to do it someday, I am sure it is a cool experience.

I love this pic... some of the kids that Emma knew..they all stood there patiently waiting for the balloons to go up, it was neat for Emma and I loved it that she was so into it. It really was a great night!!!

Franklin Park-Butterflies..

I had received a free entry ticket to franklin park conservatory and so I decided to take emma today to explore and especially check out the butterfly exhibit. It was awesome!! The whole place was just beautiful, but especially Emma went crazy in the butterfly exhibit. They were everywhere!! I took about a million pictures because it was so pretty. Emma looked around everywhere and chased the butterflies. She tried so hard to catch one. In this picture she was able to touch one for a second.
She loved the waterfall and I knew this would be a perfect spot for a pic of the two of us.

Mouth wide open yelling 'yeah butterfly'. She loved the blue ones the best!

Capturing a moment in the beauty of this place!

Get together with some friends..

Saturday we had a party at our house and really had a great time. Not everybody was able to come that usually does, end of summer busyness, but fun was had by all that came! Love all of our summer tans in the pic, joanne, laurie, lisa, and joni!

Kendy, Julie and I.
3 of Brad's longtime friends, Ken Miller, Beau Micheal, Ken Kaufman. It was nice just hanging out in our backyard yackin, eating some good pulled pork from conways, brad successfully grilling corn on the grill, couple games of cornhole and watching the kids run around our yard having a blast!

Visit with GG

Hope, Emma and Brooklyn at the park along Indian Lake.
I have been trying to get to the lake every couple weeks to see my grandma Weber. We have always been really close and I cherish it greatly. I have lots of memories of us doing things together. My grandma just is not the same anymore. It has been the hardest thing for me to deal with right now and I just cry thinking about it. She is 81 and I think has alteimzers now. It seems to be getting worse everyday. Emma just loves her 'GG' though and I am so glad of that! She gives her lots of hugs and kisses. Today was pretty special. My cousin Susan and I are only 6 months apart. She has 4 children, but two of them were up at the lake also visiting. Hope, who is 7 and Brooklyn who is 14. Brooklyn has had cancer and lost one of her eyes, her hair is partially in, but not very much in the back. Hope, looks just like my cousin Susan. We all went to Burger King for lunch and then I took the girls and Emma down the street to the park that runs along the lake. They had a blast!! It was a wonderful visit, I continue to pray for my grandma everyday.

VBS at Trinity

Emma started VBS this year with me and has done pretty well. She is still young, but since I am helping out, they said to bring her since she knows the church and everyone here. The first night she stayed with her own group, last night she wanted to stay with mommy and her group which was ok. She had fun watercoloring last night.
Emma has definantly loved the music, our theme is studio go, and she just dances away and even does the motions, a little late, but that makes it even cuter to me!!!

Everyone is in the sanctuary at the beginning and end and she just loves it! Stands right next to me and looks up to the screen to see what she needs to be doing next.

This is my group of elementary kids I have this year. They are pretty good overall. Emma had to be right there also for the pic, in the middle.

Did we need anymore excitement???

Allright, so we have had a wonderful past week, up to today. Emma had a great time going to the union county fair a couple of days, dancing at Benny's to Eric Dove friday night(except for when she ran away from mommy and daddy), going to two different parties on Saturday and playing...then Sunday came. I have lots of pics that I could post from the past week, but this one is it. Sunday, there was no sunday school at church so Emma was getting ancy during the sermon, Brad took her out to run a little bit of energy off, well..then it happened, she had an encounter with a coffee table in our atrium and the coffee table won the battle. The scream came and Marvin came and got me out of church, since Brad was already running Emma to the car going to the emergency room. I was like ow my god, the tears starting falling as blood was all over my daugthers face. She had a huge gash above her right eye. She hung on to her mommy like a real trooper and did not move, I know it had to hurt. She did great!!! I think me holding her the whole time kept my blood pressure at a somewhat normal level. The doctors at the ER were able to clean it up and Emma only cried when they pulled it together to glue it. I am so glad they were able to do that, they were not sure at first since it was so big. She did wonderful!! She has to just keep it dry for 5 days and I just have to make sure she doesn't itch it...that could be hard, no bandaid on it allowed. I hope the scar is not too bad, that is my big concern and I think I am starting to feel normal again...just made my heart sink. But, as active as Emma is, I am sure this will not be our last visit to that place..love you Emma, so glad you were a real trooper for mommy and daddy.
