Emma's 1st sleepover

The Weller girls came over at 2pm today because Kevin had to work and Joanne was at a conference. Emma had a blast with them!! The girls were all great and behaved so nicely. We went to the pool for a couple hours, Benny's for supper and then rented the movie Hotel for Dogs. Before bed, they decided to do a couple poses for me, hilarious!!!

More park pics...

This has been the summer of going to many parks for Emma and I. She loves it!!!!! Today I took her to allen township park and she loved running around and playing. We had a great time.

I loved capturing a couple pics of her with her shades on..

She definantly knows how to pose for mommy now...

Cousins...

Last week was a tough week for Brads family, losing two family members in the same week. So, we had funerals and visitations four days in a row. The good result out of it was that we were able to see the family in the summer(we always get together on all the holidays). These are Emma's 3rd cousins if you can believe it. Brad's family has always been close and that has always been awesome to see. Not many people see there 2nd and 3rd cousins very much if any at all!

Good Friends..

Happy 3rd birthday Griffin and happy 39th birthday to daddy Beau. Yesterday we went over to the Micheals house to celebrate birthdays... We had a great time. I hope that Griffin and Emma are still friends when they are older and have lots of good times like there daddys did...all good of course..he he!
This is Aiden, daddys other good friend from High School Ken Kaufman. We had a get together with them a couple weeks ago. Aiden will be 3 in a few weeks, so Griffin and Aiden are not far apart. I hope that we can keep the 3 of them friends for a long time!

I didn't get a picture of Beau with the kids, but did manage to get a pic of Julie with Emma and Griffin. Very cute!!

The Micheals just had a baby girl on April 7th named Mallory Ann Micheal. She was very content in her swing during the party and I did manage to get some smiles out of her and had fun holding her!!

Clippers Game

Saturday night was Lutheran night at the Clippers game and so we thought we would go and take Emma to her first ballgame, thinking that we would make it maybe half way thru the game..well, she did great, we made it thru 8 innings before she officially got tired and was done for the night! Of course the weather was kinda crappy, overcast and spotty little rain, and we had to weat sweatshirts in the middle of July but it was all worth it! I was very impressed with the ballpark and thought anywhere you sat was a good spot and the price could not be beat! 6.00!! In this pic Emma and Daddy were having fun making funny faces at mommy.

With the spotty rain that would come down every so often a beautiful rainbow appeared over the ballpark so I had to capture a pic.

Emma with her buddy Ella. They got tattoos on there face.

A family photo when we arrived with Papa Gilbert. We had 50 people get tickets to the game and all of us were pretty much in the same section so the fellowship was nice. Congrats Emma on your first ballgame, I think we will wait til next year to take you to a REDS game, I can not wait for that one!!

Lollipop Concert in Powell-Thadeus Rex

Had a great time today in Powell for there monthly concert on the lawn for kids. This guy was great, had Emma dancing and singing, she was a little intimidated by the big dinosaur, but was ok as long as she was far away from him. The concert was an hour and he sang all kinds of kids songs and then we went over to the park and had a picnic lunch. A great time with Aunt Audie!
Emma dancing and singing away along with all the other kids around! She had a blast!

Powell Spray Park

What a blast we had today at the spray park in powell with the nuspl family and laurie. Wendy's oldest boy Jack was at zoo kids, so Ellie and Will and Emma just had a hayday here playing at the park and the shooting fountains. I give this place a big thumbs up!!! If the kids get tired of the water, they can walk right on over to the playground(and it is very toddler friendly). I have had a blast with Emma this summer just going to all the different parks in the area. I took these pics in a tunnel that the kids just had a blast talking in and playing in for a long time, Will, Ellie, then Emma. What hams they are, you can tell that all three of them are used to having there picture taken!!!
Ellie had a blast watching over Emma and talking to her! Will is just too darn cute for his own good, I am glad he and Emma will be in the same class together!

Auntie Laurie and Emma. Laurie is going to have a baby in October! Yeah!!!

Wendy and the kids--so cute!!

I love this pic! Emma just loves the water and had a blast running thru this part of the spray park and getting all wet! I tried this color accent image that is available on my camera, I love it, something different to try, so can't wait to develop them.

Will and Emma of course love to climb on things, so captured this one of them having fun hanging from the bars.

My Precious Girl....

Emma, I have been thinking about you so much lately and especially this week...it is amazing to me to look back at the past 2 years and all the joy we have had. This day had to be one of the best when you were baptized at Trinity...5th generation, wow! I felt so proud to stand in front of our church that day. You are my rock, and I am so loving every moment with you..the past 6 months have just been crazy! I feel like you have gone from being a baby straight into a little girl...getting less and less dependent on mommy already. I am so not ready for that to go! Potty trained, playing with the big kids, 'I DO IT MYSELF MOMMY', sleeping on the floor until we got you a big girl bed because, 'No more crib, mommy, I done', going on the slides at zoombezi with mommy and just talking up a storm. I love you with all my heart and thank God for the blessing of you in my life. Whether we are able to bless you with a brother or sister is all I can think about right now, I don't know, but I know that you would be the best big sister ever. I will keep treasuring every moment with you and seeing you become the beautiful girl you are. Your laugh, your smile, your independance, your I do it's, will all be taken with a smile on my face. I love you.

4th of July weekend

4th of July parade in Marysville. We watched it in front of mannasmith's with the Wellers and emma just loved it. she figured out the candy thing really quick, and Brad and I had to watch her really close, the whole going out into the street to get the candy freaked me out a bit! I didn't want her to get the idea that it was ok to go into the street any other time.

Allright, so we also ventured out to give emma a try at her first chuck e cheese experience. Ow boy, let me tell ya, don't think we will be going back there anytime soon! Emma was totally freaked out by chucky, and as social as she is, I think it was still a little overstimulating for her. She did eat her pizza and go into the little kid area for some rides and then at the end she went up to the ceramic chucky and said 'chucky mommy yeah, take my picture mommy'! Kids, just don't get them sometimes!

of course the weekend was also filled with popsicles and this special one at the kaufmans house. we went to there house on friday and played and enjoyed catching up some. they have an awesome playground in there neighborhood and so we enjoyed that and some lunch together. aiden and emma are one year apart. emma is definantly more outgoing than aiden, and tried to give aiden lots of hugs, but he moved away alot. you just wait aiden, you will be wanting lots of hugs a few years from now!! they enjoyed eating lots of potato chips with each other!

The rest of the weekend was pretty fun. We got some catching up done around the house, of course that work never ends and enjoyed a nice dinner out with Brad's parents and my sisters. We also got to go to a party where we could see the fireworks right in front of us! That was pretty cool!

spray park in dublin

I am so glad that my daughter is a water baby like her mother!!! I took Emma to the bunny hill spray park the other day and she just went crazy and loved it!! She enjoyed running thru all the water. I had a hard time getting her to leave.
I just took Emma there myself, but while we were there, Julie our old babysitter came with her family. Emma had her first two years of her life with these girls, so of course she was excited to see them. Emerson, on the left is 3 and Avery is 6. Avery"weewee'as Emma used to call her when she began talking, often helped Julie with Emma, so the rest of the time we were at the park Emma followed her around everywhere she went in the water. It was cute!!
