Zoombezi Bay

This summer I got a pass again for us to zoombezi bay. Let me tell you what. It is the best place ever!! Emma is just having a blast there. My goal is to go a couple times a week. I thought about the Marysville pool, but then thought about what I had to pay, 90.00 since we don't live in the city limits, Emma is s till free at zoombezi for this year, so all I had to pay was 65.00. They have so much more there to offer!!! The little kid area has all these slides and emma goes down them like nothing, she has the same love of the water like her mommy, yeah!!! The water is only 2 feet deep, which is perfect. She is even getting a little more dairing and going to the christopher Island area where it is 3 feet deep and going down the bigger slides. I love going there and end up meeting lots of friends.

I love the water mommy, can't you tell??? Daddy, I can not wait for you to come one day with us.. hint, hint.

Father's Day..

What a great day for Emma and Daddy. I have always thought that Emma was my twin, but in this picture I really see lots of Brad in her, I think it is the eyes. Thank you daddy for giving Emma those baby blues... We went to church and then went over to my dad's to grill out for lunch and then Emma took a nice nap and then we went to daddy's church softball game and then dinner with Brad's dad. It was great. It is nice to have both sets of parents here in town so we can always see them on these occasions and Emma of course can get lots of hugs from Daddy. I love seeing Brad play with Emma...that is definantly his thing. When it comes to baths, clothes, potty training it is all mommy, but playing they do best together. Emma doesn't do puzzles with mommy, that is a daddy and Emma thing. I love how every morning when Emma comes into our room she says milk daddy, milk please. Daddy always gets her morning milk for her. I can tell that Emma is going to have Daddy wrapped around her little finger...watch out Daddy she is going to give you a run for your money.. and take lots of it I am sure!!

Trinity golf outing fun!

Friday was an awesome day as we had the trinity golf outing at buck ridge. Brad was a co chair for this event.. alot of work, but worth it in the end as it raised about 4300.00 for the school to use for various projects. We got an hour late start due to the downpour of rain, but let me tell you, it did not stop any of the fun that was happening... nothing like lots of people doing jello shots at 8:30 in the morning!!! The group above were the 3 guys we went to disney with... the grimms, macavoys and wellers... hilarious, they even had matching outfits! This is my sister Jody with her 'close aquantance' Kelly. Not sure if I am allowed to call him her boyfriend yet... It is really quite funny how life comes full circle. Kelly and Brad have known each other there whole life practically and Kelly was in our wedding. Both of them were single, and one night after the church softball team game, I just thought, you know what, I think they just might be a good couple, if nothing else they can be good friends and have fun together...who knows what will happen, but seems to be going well so far.. yeah!

This was our team, the purple ones, supporting trinity school(that is there color) My sister Jody, Joanne, me and Brad. We had a great time even though it did get to sweltering heat temps and we all thought we were going to die!

Matching in our purple!

Me, Joanne and Cathy McNabb the school prinicipal. What a hoot she is!!!

Good friends..

Saturday night several friends and there husbands all gathered at Francie's house for a cookout. What a great time. I can not wait to do it again!! Had to capture a picture around the bar they have in there basement. We enjoyed a cookout, yacking a lot, hanging out around the campfire and checking out there pig barn(it actually was pretty cool). They show pigs at the fair.
Thanks for being a part of my life..Francie, Robin, Christy, Amy, Margo.

Emma and her buddies...

Emma as many of you know... loves being around kids and just chasing after them, playing with them and she never seems to forget a face. This is a few of her friends that she knows...Levi used to go to Emma's old babysitter and has been in gymnastics with Emma, Cameron goes to our church and was also in Emma's gymnastics class. They both were uptown at the Fun Friday night and just chased each other around. Emma also enjoyed playing with her friend Griffin Micheal before they had to leave.
This is Riley. Riley lives next door to us and her and Emma are only 3months apart and just adore each other. Whenever we are outside they just look for each other and enjoy playing and running around.

I had to add this picture of Em and her mammaw. Sharon just adores Emma and loves playing with her. Sharon has parkinsons disease and walks with a cane and Emma is always right there to help her walk.

REDS vs. CUBS

Yes, that is right, the game went 14 innings yesterday at Great American Ballpark. That is the longest game I have ever been at and I was just amazed by it... had a great time!!

My friend Joanne got her and her husband tickets to go and see the reds and cubs game yesterday. They are big CUBS fans. I of course, am a Reds fan. Kevin was unable to go because his drill weekend got changed, and so Joanne asked me to go. I was thrilled!!! We had a great time visiting with each other and just hanging out! We saw a great game, 14 innings.. the Reds just could not hang on. We enjoyed lunch at the Big Red Machine Room and got seats inside the stadium to eat, that was cool!! We even made a short stop at Jeffersonville, we were only there a half hour. of course we both could of stayed much longer once we were there, but knew we had a game to get too. It was a long day..but so much fun!

Grandma Emma's Auction

All the people checking out all the items up for bidding.. glasses, nicknaks, furniture...
The quilts that she had.. I really wish that I could of taken each of these home with me...

Sycamore street...lots of memories..Brad's grandma Emma lived in this house for 70 years. His dad and aunt marge were even born in this house. His grandma lived to be 97 years old and died last January. We had the house auction on Saturday and it just saddened me to see all of this stuff go... it seems you work all of your life to get everything you have and before you know it, it is all gone. I know that this day had to be hard on Marge and Marvin, it even brought a tear to my eyes.
