Middle School Softball Team

This is my middle school 7th grade softball team from this year. This is my 6th year coaching and I just love coaching.. this group of girls is pretty special, they are kind hearted, play well together and listen and want to learn. We had our first scrimmage today and the girls all made these t shirts, even one for me, and we all wore them today at school. It was so cute seeing everyone all matching and with homemade shirts. The girls did great today, but I did not get to see Emma until my scrimmage was over at 6:30. Ouch, a reality check for me, I love coaching but really realize now my first priority is Emma and I need to think about her and spending as much time as I can with her.. they grow and change so fast..and if she is all I do get to be blessed with in life I want to enjoy every moment. So what the future holds I do not know.. but this season I know I will always either be coaching or playing with my precious blessing from God.

Christy got engaged!

My surprise reaction!!!!

Ok, so here I was outside playing with Emma and I get a call from one of my dear friends Christy asking if her and her Randy could come out to visit.. I of course said sure!! I encouraged Christy a lot over the fall to sign up for e harmony, well long story short, she finally did it over christmas break, and well that is just the beginning, she quickly met Randy and things seemed to be going really well. Christy and Randy arrived and we were just sitting there catching up and watching emma run around the back yard, then Randy saw my camera and started asking me questions about it, etc. and played it up that he wanted to look at mine, etc. I said sure, well to my wonder he flipped the camera on me when Christy popped her hand out with a ring on it!! Wow, so excited for them.. going to be a great summer!!!

Happy B-day M&M

Friday night Brad and I went out to Bennys for a couple hours to help celebrate Margo and Melissa's Bdays. I have known them pretty much my whole life...or I can not remember that far back in my life to when I did not know them. They both are quite possibly the sweetest most thoughtful people I know. Just fun spirited and full of life and I just love them both being a part of my life. Margo and I got reunited several years ago when we found out we had the same mutual friend, Christy... a small world. But it was nice just hanging out and enjoying some great Benny's grub...glad they got the rootbeer fixed for ya too, gotta have that frosttop!!

St. Patty's Day Parade

This morning Brad and I took Emma, her cousin Kaylee and a good friend Ella Weller to the Dublin St. Pattys Day Parade. Of course the girls were all decked out in there green and hair bows, and absolutely had a ball! They love to be with each other and got all cozy in the big wagon. The parade was awesome, 1 hour and 10 minutes long. The girls of course loved getting candy and dancing up and down to all the bands and music being played. Afterwards we had to go to McDonalds of course and enjoy some chicken nuggets..
Emma just loves her cousin Kaylee and really looks up to her, she loves to cuddle up against her and do whatever she does. She also just loves Ella Weller, they really enjoy playing with each other and Ella looks at her like a little sister... it is just adorable, so a really fun morning and we got back in time to watch the buckeyes play!!

Please let spring stay!!...

Today was an awesome day!! It was great enjoying the wonderful warm weather we had and being outside!!! Brad and Emma and I ventured out early to try and beat the crowd and went to the zoo.. it was awesome, all the animals were out since it wasn't too hot or cold and Emma loved walking around the zoo and burning off some energy. I had to get her all decked out in her spring attire and hope that I can keep it out!! I just love having a pass to the zoo, can go for a couple hours and feel good, knowing you can go back anytime you want!
